![]() Setting up the device driver is fairly easy though the interface might look a little confusing in the beginning. Though for serious gamers it would mean charging the headset at least once every day, depending on the use. ![]() Corsair promises 16 hours of battery life for the Void on one full charge, and though I couldn’t test out the validity of that claim (what can I say, the life of a journalist is rather busy), it seems a decent number even if we take an hour off it. The noise cancellation is excellent as well, and the extra weight isn’t that much of an issue as the headset fits in quite snugly. The range of the headset (40 feet) is rather convenient and lets you move about freely with any hassles. Coming to music, the Corsair Void lacks a bit in the bass department but has nice mid tones and overall voice clarity. The microphone too, my teammates reported, transmitted my voice distinctly loud and clear. The Corsair Void did a good job of handling the directional sound in Counter Strike Global Offensive, and the experience was similar to that of the HyperX Cloud Drone II. But the real test was with Counter Strike Global Offensive where directional sound sense is 70% of the gameplay. The 2.4 GHz wireless signal is more than enough to handle the bulk of audio in games like Call of Duty Advanced Warfare.
